June/July Update
Not sure about everybody else, but June and July have been super busy and felt a lot like the craziness in the lead up to Christmas. So much to do and so little time.
We’ve had an unusual cold snap in South East Queensland which has also slowed things down. Living on a mountain range, it’s normally cold here, but this year Mother Nature seems to have decided to step it up a level. You know it’s bad when visitors from Hobart, Tasmania, where it’s notorious for being cold, complain about how cold it is! It’s hard to get motivated when you step outside and the icy wind attacks your face. I also like to be able to feel my fingers 😉
August is notorious for its cold winds, which isn’t a heartening prospect. I’m starting to understand the attraction of a dormant until spring option.
Writing Addy is coming along nicely, maybe a little slower than I’d like, but it’s taking shape. Fingers crossed on making good progress throughout August.
Take care.
