September Update

Here in the Southern Hemisphere spring is underway. Living as I do in a mountainous area we’re a month or so behind the warmer places, but nonetheless, spring has arrived!

This is one of my favourite times of year in the garden. The snow bells that come out in winter fade away and the blue bells arrive en masse. The hyacinths have popped their heads out too, along with the poppies.

And my favourites, the roses, are starting to put on a show. I’ve filled up the area dedicated to roses and am looking forward to a fabulous show over the next few months. The roses are bordered with different types of lavender and the bees are in a frenzy. Everything has suddenly sprung to life!

In writing news, Addy is at 39% completion of the first draft, with progress a little slow. I had to stop and rethink some aspects of one of my main characters as it wasn’t working as well as it should have. I’ve sorted that out now, so hopefully it will be full steam ahead to the end.

The lure of outside isn’t helping to keep the writing progressing strongly! The weather is so gorgeous I can’t help it.

Until next time, take care.

L.x
