September in Toowoomba is Carnival of Flowers time, which means flowers; lots and lots of flowers spread over parks and some private gardens.

I’m crazy about the flowers that appear at the beginning of spring here: tulips, daffodils, ranunculus. I really, REALLY love tulips, so the start of the Carnival when the tulips are at their best is one of my favourite times of year.

I also think I like the vibe of spring. Things are popping out of the ground, budding, and the landscape is coming to life. It seems to bring me to life 🙂

On the writing front, Alex has been published! It’s available here, or on Kindle Unlimited.

What happens in Tassie, stays in Tassie…

Alex Abraham is a pastry chef in the midst of building up a successful business. She’s run-off-her-feet busy and certainly not looking for a relationship, or love, despite the fact that her sisters seem to be falling one by one. She thought she was clear and free, until she gets caught up in her own chief bridesmaid dilemma with Ben, who’s undeniably easy on the eyes.

Ben Unsworth has built his own well-regarded and busy building company. His life is fulfilling in every way and Ben has no interest in being happily loved up. He’s seen the worst that marriage can do, and frankly, he’s not interested. His best man duties become way more complicated than he anticipated when he and the chief bridesmaid end up holidaying in Tasmania together.

Two single people, a romantic setting: what harm can a holiday fling do if the terms are clear ahead of time?

Join Alex and Ben as they try to deny the undeniable.

Angel is coming along nicely. The first draft didn’t quite make it for the end of September, but it’s still on track for the end of the year. Ideas are also flowing fast for Built to Last which is exciting.

Take care.
