A real-life wedding is a romance writer’s dream, and my daughter’s took place on 6 September. Despite some things going awry as they do, we all had a great time. And there were lots of lovely and memorable moments. Fair bit of fodder for future stories!!

In the fiction romance arena, Artie’s story is still on track for release at the end of October and Polly’s for the end of November. Artie is out for advance reading and I’m hopeful they will love his character as much as I do.

I have just finished preparing Polly’s story to go to the proofreader. She has indicated she’s keen to read this one, which is always a good sign. I noticed when doing the final read before I sent it to her, that I kept wanting to come back to it, to spend more time with Polly and Paige. I take that as another good sign, given I already know what happens!

I’m about to write the first chapter of the next series and that’s always super exciting. I’ve been planning, and thinking, and plotting for a while now. I spend a fair bit of time flying, and I find that is a great time to put the headphones in, crank up the playlist for that book and let the ideas roll. Can’t wait to dive in.

Artie’s story—Daily Grind—is up for pre-order now.

Kate’s ex-husband is marrying her sister—and she needs a date to the wedding from hell.

When Kate receives the invitation that changes everything, she’s trapped between looking bitter if she skips it, or pathetic if she shows up alone.

Enter Artie Abraham, her boss’s infuriatingly attractive brother, with a solution that sounds too good to be true: he’ll be her fake boyfriend for the week.

One week of pretending to be madly in love. A few innocent family appearances. No strings attached. It sounds like the perfect plan.

There’s just one problem. That spark between them—the one Kate thought she’d killed after their explosive New Year’s Eve kiss—refuses to stay buried.

What starts as a simple arrangement quickly becomes complicated when the chemistry feels all too real. Kate and Artie must decide if what they’re feeling is just an act, or if some sparks are meant to ignite.

Sometimes the best relationships start with the biggest lies!

I’ll put the pre-order link for Polly’s story next month. Until then, take care.
